The Blue Kids Tutorial Gloves were made with the interest of improving younger players fundamentals from day one. The big issues we found is that kids struggle to learn in big groups. This is made even more difficult when kids just want to play and not learn.
We took this information and looked to resolve the issue. From the research, we realised the best way of teaching is giving each player a mini tutorial on the gloves themselves. We do this by colour coordinating the skills. This is proven to give younger players more confidence because they know they are doing the skill correctly. This confidence allows kids to develop more technical skills from a younger age, increasing the future potential from day one.
Our unique design on the palm of the hand are coloured white with the ideal point of contact for hand passing. This is aligned with the GAA outlined tutorials for coaches. Furthermore, on the back of the gloves, when put together it forms the shape of a “W”. The GAA find this to be the ideal method for players to be catching the ball and is one of the harder skills for kids to develop.
