Why did we make the Dry Weather Gloves? With the introduction of the mark has highlighted the need to clean catch a ball. However we have the perfect product for you. Firstly we assessed the issue with clean catches. We looked at why people had issues catching balls during dry weather games. There is no material covering your hand which caused sweat to lay down a layer of moisture which causes handling issues with the ball.
Secondly we looked at how to fix this issue. We realised a glove was the solution. The material in standard gloves wasn’t providing the same results as open hand even with a layer of sweat.

So, we knew we needed a glove that provided friction for control for players. We took every material we got our hands on and searched for a glove that could meet our requirements. We realised that a synthetic leather, similar to that of the ball, would reduce the speed and increase the control the player had over the ball. To deal with sweat we put a breathable exterior for a players comfort.

With results showing a reduce in failed catches as high as 35% in certain players, allowing players to palm the ball and complete control while going into challenges, and so the dry weather Great Grip Gloves were born.
